Snake in the Grass

Have I over done it with the skinny scarves recently? Probably. Am I going to stop? Probably not. I love them too much. They add a nice little 70's twist to any outfit and just make it that little bit more interesting. So I apologise in advance for any more skinny scarf looks....

Anyway, lets talk about this skirt. This broke the bank at a whopping £12. I know, amazing right? It's so retro and pretty and I love those pinky tones. I decided to pair it with this lovely buttoned Zara shirt, which is so simple but really pretty and also pretty cheap (I think it was less than £30)

As it's getting a little colder I thought I would layer up with the love of my life, my Zara shearling coat. I was a little apprehensive about buying this coat at first after seeing every blogger and their dog wearing it, but I decided I really didn't care. That is one hard thing about being a blogger, feeling like you or your followers are going to compare yourself to other bloggers when that 'it' item comes out. You don't want to look like you're just following the crowds or copying, but I've decided that you can't let it determine what you want to buy. If you want it and you like it, just do it for you.
